These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the ScoreCast website and services. By contacting us, booking our services, or using the ScoreCast software, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service Description

ScoreCast provides custom deployment and training services for live competition scoring software. Our service includes: • Software configuration for your specific event requirements • Installation on your hardware (PC/laptop, Android phones, projector/TV) • Scoring template setup and judge assignment configuration • On-site or remote training for your team • Event-day technical support (as per your chosen package) ScoreCast is not a SaaS platform. The software is deployed on your hardware for your event.

2. Client Responsibilities

You are responsible for providing: • A Windows PC or laptop for the scoring server • Android phones for judges (one per judge) • A projector or TV for live display • A local WiFi router for device connectivity • UPS backup for the server (recommended) We provide software, configuration, and training. You provide the hardware.

3. Booking and Payment

• Bookings are confirmed upon mutual agreement on event date, scope, and pricing • Payment terms are agreed upon individually for each event • Pricing is per-event and includes all services listed in your chosen package • Hardware is not included in any package

4. Event Preparation

• We require advance notice to prepare your event configuration • Last-minute bookings are accommodated based on availability • We may request event details (contestant list, categories, judge list, scoring criteria) in advance • A pre-event walkthrough or rehearsal is included in Professional and Enterprise packages

5. Software License

• The ScoreCast software is licensed, not sold, for use during your booked events • You may not reverse-engineer, modify, or redistribute the software • The software includes tamper-proof scoring integrity (HMAC-SHA256) • All competition data remains on your local hardware

6. Data and Privacy

• All competition data (scores, contestants, judges) stays on your hardware • We do not access your competition data unless explicitly requested for support • Our Privacy Policy governs data collected through our website • The software communicates with our license server only for license verification

7. Limitation of Liability

• ScoreCast is provided "as is" for your event • We are not liable for issues caused by hardware failure, power outages, or network problems outside our control • We recommend UPS backup and testing all hardware before the event • Our liability is limited to the service fee paid for the specific event in question • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

8. Cancellation and Rescheduling

• Cancellation terms are agreed upon individually for each booking • Rescheduling is accommodated based on availability • In case of force majeure (natural disasters, government restrictions), we will work with you to reschedule

9. Intellectual Property

• ScoreCast software, branding, and documentation are our intellectual property • Event data, contestant information, and results generated during your event belong to you • We may request permission to use anonymized event statistics for marketing purposes

10. Warranty and Support

• We warrant that the software will function as described during your event • Event-day support is included as per your chosen package • Post-event support for data export or reports is available upon request • Software updates between booking and event are provided at no additional cost

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Dhemaji, Assam.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes apply to future bookings only. Existing bookings are governed by the Terms at the time of booking.
